Official blueprint
The 220-1202 exam covers 4 domains. Each domain has a defined weight — the percentage of exam questions it contributes. Courseiva has 61 practice questions mapped across these objectives.

Domain 3 (Operating Systems) covers Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, plus macOS and Linux basics. Questions are scenario-based: you get a symptom, then must pick the right tool, command, or console. Expect boot failures, performance complaints, and OS-recovery tasks rather than pure recall.
16 practice questions available
Domain 4 (Security) covers physical and logical security for Windows endpoints and networks: malware types, social engineering, wireless and authentication protocols, hardening, and data destruction. Questions are scenario-based, asking you to diagnose a symptom or select the control that best fits a stated business or compliance requirement.
16 practice questions available
Software Troubleshooting (23% of Core 2) covers diagnosing Windows, mobile, and security-related failures: boot problems, blue screens, malware, profile corruption, and application crashes. Questions are scenario-based — a symptom is described, and you pick the best diagnostic step, tool, or fix, usually in Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux, or mobile OS contexts.
15 practice questions available
Operational Procedures covers the people-and-process side of IT: safety, environmental controls, documentation, change management, backups, and secure data disposal. On 220-1202 it is tested through scenario questions that ask you to pick the correct first step, the right destruction method, or the proper safety precaution, so you must know both the procedure and the order in which it is performed.
14 practice questions available
Start with the highest-weight domain — that's where most of your exam questions will come from. Work through each objective's practice questions until you can answer at least 85% correctly. Return to lower-weight domains last, and use the full practice test to test cross-domain recall.
