This Privacy Policy explains how Courseiva, operated by JTNetSolutions Ltd, collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit courseiva.com. By using Courseiva you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account data: When you register, we collect your name and email address.
  • Usage data: Questions answered, scores, session duration, domain performance, and study habits — used to power your progress tracking and recommendations.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages visited — collected automatically via server logs and analytics services.
  • Communications: If you contact us, we retain the message content and your contact details.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver and personalise the Courseiva service (study recommendations, readiness scores, progress tracking)
  • To improve question quality and exam coverage
  • To monitor site performance and diagnose technical issues

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Data at rest is encrypted at the infrastructure level. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth using industry-standard JWT tokens.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Courseiva uses the following types of cookies:

Essential cookies

Required for core functionality. These include authentication session tokens set by Supabase. You cannot opt out of essential cookies without disabling core features.

Advertising cookies — Google AdSense

Courseiva uses Google AdSense (Publisher ID: pub-9603931774152758) to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. These cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on your prior visits to Courseiva or other websites.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or AboutAds.info. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Analytics cookies

8. Data Deletion and Account Removal

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@courseiva.com with subject line "Delete my account". We will process requests within 30 days.

Note: aggregated, anonymised analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for platform improvement purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

Courseiva is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Courseiva after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
