How Courseiva approaches quality, independence, and security

Courseiva is an independent IT certification practice platform. Here is how we approach question quality, vendor independence, data protection, and learner privacy.

Platform principles

Original practice questions

Every question on Courseiva is an original exam-style practice question written for learning. Questions are designed to explain reasoning, not to reproduce real exam content.

Not an exam dump site

Courseiva is not an exam dump site. The platform focuses on understanding — topic explanations, detailed answer reasoning, and readiness tracking — not memorising answer letters.

Independent and vendor-neutral

Courseiva is an independent third-party practice platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, CompTIA, Google, ISC2, ISACA, or any other certification vendor.

No vendor affiliation claims

Courseiva does not claim to be an official partner or authorised provider for any certification body. All vendor names, logos, and certification marks are trademarks of their respective owners.

Learning-focused design

Practice questions include full explanations, wrong-answer reasoning, key concepts, common exam traps, and links to related topic guides. The aim is preparation through understanding.

Readiness tracking

Courseiva tracks practice session results by domain so learners can identify weak areas and decide what to study next before exam day.

Vendor trademark notice

Courseiva is an independent third-party practice platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cisco Systems®, Amazon Web Services®, Microsoft®, CompTIA®, Google®, ISC2®, ISACA®, or any other certification vendor. All vendor names, logos, and certification marks are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here solely to identify the exams that Courseiva practice questions relate to.

Security & privacy

Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Authentication tokens are securely managed via Supabase Auth.

Row-level security

Every database table has row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data — enforced at the database level.

Data hosting

Data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure (AWS us-east-1). Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery available.

Authentication

Secure email/password authentication with bcrypt hashing. Session management via HTTP-only cookies. No credentials stored in localStorage.

Privacy

Courseiva does not sell your data. GDPR-friendly data export and deletion are available on request at support@courseiva.com.

Uptime

99.9% uptime target. Real-time monitoring and alerting for service disruptions. Status updates communicated via email.
