Troubleshooting: BGP edge and EIGRP core

A branch's LAN never reaches the provider over BGP. Find the faults in the EIGRP core and the BGP edge and fix them.

About 35 minutes 5 devices 3 tasksAdvanced

Scenario

The branch (AS 65002) runs EIGRP AS 100 between edge router R2 and core router R3; R3 owns the LAN 192.168.3.0/24 and has a default route to R2. R2 should advertise 192.168.3.0/24 to the provider R1 (AS 65001) over eBGP, and R1 should advertise 203.0.113.0/24 back. Nothing works yet: PC3 cannot reach the provider server. There are several faults. Use `show ip bgp summary`, `show ip bgp`, `show ip eigrp neighbors`, `show ip route` and the running configs.

Your tasks

  1. The eBGP session between R1 and R2 is Established.
  2. R2 and R3 are EIGRP neighbours and R2 learns 192.168.3.0/24 from R3.
  3. R1 learns 192.168.3.0/24 by BGP and PC3 can reach the server 203.0.113.10.

The lab checks the result, not the exact commands. For example, a ping task passes only when the ping really succeeds through the network you built.
