Troubleshooting: guests connect but get no address

Guests can see and join the Guest Wi-Fi but never get an address in their VLAN. Find the controller and switch faults and fix them.

Scenario

The Guest WLAN (SSID Guest, key Welcome2026) is meant to put guests in VLAN 20 (10.20.20.0/24) through the policy profile GUEST-POLICY and the policy tag GUEST-TAG, with R1 handing out addresses. Guests report that the network is there but their laptops end up without a usable address. There is more than one fault, on the controller and on the switch. Use the controller's Monitoring pages, `show wireless client summary`, `show ap tag summary`, `show interfaces trunk` on SW1 and LAPTOP1's `netsh wlan show interfaces` and `ipconfig`.

Your tasks

  1. LAPTOP1 joins Guest and its traffic lands in VLAN 20.
  2. LAPTOP1 gets an address in 10.20.20.0/24 by DHCP.
  3. LAPTOP1 can ping 8.8.8.8.

The lab checks the result, not the exact commands. For example, a ping task passes only when the ping really succeeds through the network you built.
