Refer to the exhibit. What is the effect of applying this policy to a user?

Accepted Answer

The user cannot organize or produce live events.. The policy shown in the exhibit is a Teams Live Events policy that restricts the user from organizing or producing live events. When such a policy is applied, the user cannot create or schedule live events, but may still be able to attend events organized by others depending on attendee permissions. The correct answer reflects that the user is blocked from the organizer/producer role.

Answer

The user can only join live events as an attendee.

Answer

The user can record broadcasts but not stream them.

Answer

The user can only schedule private meetings.

Question 2

A user is experiencing issues with their headset during Teams calls. You want to verify the device status using the Teams Admin Center. Where should you look?

Billing Administrator

Question 4

You are deploying Microsoft Teams Direct Routing for your organization. You need to ensure that users can make outbound calls to the PSTN and receive inbound calls from the PSTN. You have already configured the Session Border Controller (SBC) and the voice routing policy. Which two additional components must you configure to enable PSTN connectivity? (Choose two.)

Accepted Answer

Create a PSTN usage record and assign it to the voice routing policy.. For Direct Routing, after configuring the SBC and voice routing policy, you must also create a PSTN usage record and assign it to the voice routing policy, and assign a dial plan to users. The PSTN usage connects the voice route to the voice policy, enabling outbound calls. The dial plan normalizes dialed numbers to E.164, ensuring correct routing. Without these, users cannot make or receive PSTN calls even if the SBC and voice policy are in place.

Answer

Configure a Session Border Controller (SBC) with a certificate.

Answer

Create a Teams emergency calling policy.

Answer

Configure a network topology and assign sites to users.

Question 5

You are a Teams administrator for a large organization that uses Microsoft Teams for meetings. The company has a policy that all meetings with external participants must be encrypted end-to-end. You need to configure the appropriate meeting policy to enforce this requirement. What should you do?

Accepted Answer

Enable 'End-to-End Encryption' in the meeting policy and assign it to all users who organize meetings with external participants.. End-to-end encryption for Teams meetings is enabled through meeting policies. When enabled, only participants can decrypt the meeting content, ensuring that external participants cannot access unencrypted data. This directly fulfills the requirement for encrypted meetings with external participants.

Answer

Enable 'Sensitivity labels' and apply a label that enforces encryption to all meetings.

Answer

Configure a conditional access policy that requires compliant devices for all users.

Answer

Set the 'AllowCloudRecording' parameter to False in the meeting policy.

Question 6

You are the Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone with Direct Routing. The company has a Session Border Controller (SBC) that must handle emergency calls. You need to ensure that when a user dials an emergency number, the call is routed to the appropriate emergency services. What should you configure in the Teams Admin Center?

Accepted Answer

Create a voice routing policy with a PSTN usage that includes the emergency numbers and associate it with the SBC.. For Direct Routing, emergency calls must be routed through a voice routing policy that includes the emergency numbers in a PSTN usage and associates that usage with the SBC. This ensures that when a user dials an emergency number, the call is sent to the SBC, which then routes it to the appropriate emergency services. Other configurations like emergency addresses or calling policies do not control call routing.

Answer

Configure the emergency addresses in the Teams Admin Center under Locations > Emergency addresses.

Answer

Create a new emergency calling policy and assign it to the relevant users.

Answer

Assign a calling policy that enables emergency calling to the users.

Question 7

You are a Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone with Calling Plans. A user named Ana reports that she cannot make outbound calls to any external phone number. When she tries, she hears a recording saying the call cannot be completed as dialed. In the Teams admin center, you verify that Ana has a Calling Plan license and a phone number assigned. You also confirm that her dial plan correctly normalizes numbers. What should you check next to resolve the issue?

Accepted Answer

Whether Ana's calling policy allows outbound calls to external numbers.. The most likely cause is a calling policy that restricts outbound PSTN calls. With Teams Phone and Calling Plans, a user can have a valid license and phone number but still be blocked from making external calls if the assigned calling policy disables PSTN calling. Since dial plan normalization is already confirmed correct, the remaining policy setting is the key to resolving the issue.

Answer

Whether Ana has been assigned a voice routing policy that allows international calls.

Answer

Whether Ana is enabled for Enterprise Voice in her Teams calling policy.

Answer

Whether Ana's assigned dial plan includes the correct normalization rule for the numbers she is dialing.

Question 8

A company's Teams administrator needs to ensure that all users in the Sales department can schedule Teams meetings with a dial-in number available for participants. The company already has an audio conferencing bridge configured. Which setting should the administrator verify is enabled in the meeting policy assigned to Sales users?

Accepted Answer

Allow PSTN dial-in. To provide dial-in numbers, the Teams meeting policy must have Allow PSTN dial-in enabled. This setting is part of audio conferencing configuration and directly affects whether meeting invitations include dial-in information. Other settings like dial-out, recording, or transcription do not meet the requirement of enabling participants to join by phone.

Answer

Allow transcription

Answer

Allow cloud recording

Answer

Allow dial-out to phone numbers

Question 9

You are a Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone with Operator Connect. A user named Maria reports that she cannot make outbound calls to a specific international number, but she can call other international numbers. You need to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. What should you check first?

Accepted Answer

Verify that Maria's dial plan includes the correct normalization rule for the number she is trying to call.. Dial plans apply normalization rules to convert dialed numbers into E.164 format. If a specific number pattern lacks a correct normalization rule, the call fails before it reaches routing. Since other international calls work, the issue is likely a missing or incorrect normalization rule for that number.

Answer

Check Maria's voice routing policy to ensure it allows calls to that country.

Answer

Confirm that Maria has a valid Teams Calling Plan that includes international minutes.

Answer

Ensure that the session border controller (SBC) is configured to allow calls to that country.

Question 10

You are a Teams administrator for a company using Microsoft 365. The company has a policy that all meetings scheduled by users in the Sales department must allow up to 1,000 participants and include a custom meeting invitation footer. You need to create and assign a meeting policy named SalesMeetingPolicy that enforces these requirements. Which PowerShell cmdlet should you use to create the policy?

Accepted Answer

New-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -Identity SalesMeetingPolicy -MaxMeetingSize 1000 -CustomInvitationFooter "Sales Meeting". To create a new meeting policy with specific settings, use New-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy. The parameters MaxMeetingSize and CustomInvitationFooter are valid for meeting policies and meet the requirements. After creation, assign the policy to users with Grant-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy. The other cmdlets either modify existing policies, create broadcast policies, or configure global settings, which do not fit the scenario.

Answer

New-CsTeamsMeetingBroadcastPolicy -Identity SalesMeetingPolicy -MaxMeetingSize 1000 -CustomInvitationFooter "Sales Meeting"

Answer

Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -Identity SalesMeetingPolicy -MaxMeetingSize 1000 -CustomInvitationFooter "Sales Meeting"

Answer

New-CsTeamsMeetingConfiguration -Identity SalesMeetingPolicy -MaxMeetingSize 1000 -CustomInvitationFooter "Sales Meeting"

Question 11

You are the Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone. A user reports that when they receive a call, it only rings on their desktop Teams client, not on their mobile Teams app. The user wants calls to ring on both devices simultaneously. Which setting should you configure in the Teams admin center?

Accepted Answer

The user's Teams mobile app settings for calls. Simultaneous ringing on mobile and desktop is primarily controlled by the user's mobile app notification settings. The user must enable call notifications in the Teams mobile app. While admins can set policies for calling features, the mobile ringing behavior is a client-side setting. Therefore, the correct action is to have the user adjust their mobile app settings.

Answer

Call answering rules in the user's Teams settings

Answer

Calling policy assigned to the user

Answer

Voice routing policy assigned to the user

Question 12

You are a Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone with Direct Routing. A user reports that when they receive an incoming PSTN call, the call rings on their desktop Teams client but never rings on their mobile Teams app, even though the mobile app is signed in and online. You need to ensure that the user's mobile device also rings for incoming calls. What should you do?

Accepted Answer

Ensure the user has the 'Calls to all your devices' setting enabled in Teams and that the mobile app has notifications allowed.. The user's mobile app not ringing is typically due to the 'Calls to all your devices' setting being disabled or mobile notifications being blocked. Enabling this setting in Teams allows simultaneous ringing on all signed-in devices, including mobile. The calling policy alone does not control this; it is a user-level setting. Ensuring notifications are allowed on the mobile device is also necessary for the ring to be presented.

Answer

Assign a calling policy that has 'Prevent toll bypass' set to True.

Answer

Configure the user's calling policy to enable 'Simultaneously ring' to the mobile endpoint.

Answer

Enable the user for Teams Calling Plans instead of Direct Routing.

Question 13

You are a Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams Phone with Direct Routing. You need to configure a new voice routing policy to allow a group of users to make outbound calls to specific countries. The policy must also ensure that calls to emergency services are always allowed. Which two actions should you perform? (Choose two.)

Accepted Answer

Create a new voice routing policy and add the appropriate PSTN usages for the allowed countries.. To allow specific countries, you create a voice routing policy with the appropriate PSTN usages and assign it to the users. This ensures their outbound calls are routed according to the policy. Emergency calls are always allowed by default and do not require additional configuration in the routing policy.

Answer

Add the users to a security group and enable 'Enterprise Voice' for the group.

Answer

Configure an emergency calling policy and assign it to the users.

Answer

Create a dial plan that includes normalization rules for the countries.

Question 14

You are a Teams administrator for a company that uses Microsoft Teams meetings. The company wants to ensure that meeting recordings are stored in Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint) and that only the meeting organizer and co-organizers can edit the recording. You need to configure the appropriate meeting policy settings. Which two actions should you perform? (Choose two.)

Accepted Answer

Set the RecordingStorageMode to SharePoint in the meeting policy.. To store meeting recordings in Microsoft Stream (on SharePoint), you must enable cloud recording and set the recording storage mode to SharePoint. These two settings in the Teams meeting policy ensure that recordings are saved to the correct location. Editing permissions are then controlled by SharePoint, not by a specific Teams policy setting.

Answer

Set the AllowTranscription setting to True in the meeting policy.

Answer

Set the AllowParticipantsToEditRecording setting to False in the meeting policy.

Answer

Set the AllowRecordingStorageOutsideRegion setting to True in the meeting policy.

Question 15

A Teams administrator needs to ensure that when users in the Finance department schedule Teams meetings, only organizers from Finance can bypass the lobby, while all other participants wait in the lobby. Which meeting policy setting should the administrator configure?

Accepted Answer

Who can bypass the lobby. The Who can bypass the lobby setting allows administrators to specify which participants can join directly without waiting in the lobby. By setting it to allow only the organizer and specific groups, such as Finance, the administrator can meet the requirement. Other settings like meeting registration or automatically admit people do not provide the same granular control.

Answer

Allow dial-in users to bypass the lobby

Answer

Automatically admit people

Answer

Allow meeting registration
