Official prerequisite
One year of cumulative paid work experience in one or more of the seven SSCP domains. Candidates without experience can pass and become an Associate of ISC2.

The passing score is 700 out of 1000 on a scaled basis. The exam contains 125 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 180 minutes.

The SSCP is a practitioner-level exam focused on hands-on, operational security tasks, while the CISSP is a managerial and strategic certification.
